FutureTix Announces Its 2016 Ticketing Symposium

Selden, NY –Aug 11 – FutureTix announces its 7th Annual Ticketing Symposium will be heading west this year.  The FutureTix Ticketing Symposium will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada with educational sessions starting on Monday, November 14, 2016. Furthermore, the layout for the Symposium will be slightly different than past years by changing the one-day event to a one-and-a-half-day program, which includes more educational sessions and networking events.  Ticketing, marketing, data, development and all other live entertainment and admissions related professionals are welcome to attend.

“The FutureTix Ticketing Symposium is an excellent place to gain information on cutting edge technology and best practices,” says Tracy Noll, Director of Sales & Development Services at Penn State University.  “We so often get bogged down in our day to day routines that we don’t take the time to research advances being made in our industry.  Dan and his team does the work for you and provides it all a concise, easy to follow format.”

The FutureTix Ticketing Symposium agenda will consist of several sets of panels with speakers from both the vendor and venue side of ticketing, Q&A sessions and speed dating seminar with plenty of networking time available during breaks, lunch and a two-hour cocktail hour networking event on Monday night. Relevant topics such as cutting edge concepts, data and loyalty, ticket recycling, and successful best practices and trends will be discussed.

“Ticketing is constantly evolving and professionals are asked to deploy more and more new technology and concepts on top of their everyday workload,” said Dan DeMato, Principal at FutureTix. “We work hard to put on an event, that gathers some of the greatest minds in ticketing, and puts it all at your disposal for a low registration cost.  We’re excited to say that we’ve received enough positive feedback that this year we will be extending the event to one-and-a-half days.”

In the past, the FutureTix Ticketing Symposium has been held in Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles.  Past speakers include: Kyle Wright, Senior Interactive Marketing and Analytics Manager at the Shubert Organization, Joe O’Neil, Senior Director of Ticket Operations, Chicago Bulls; Geoff Lester, Head of Partnerships and Business Development, StubHub and Joe Choti, President & Chief Executive Officer, Tickets.com.
